Hello my name is Charles, most of my friends call me Trunks and if you are reading
this site , that makes you a friend. I started this site because my head is full
of information that can help crappie fishermen. I will do all I can to help
anyone who needs some info about how to catch these tasty little fish. Now that
I am without a boat a lot of fishing spots that I had are now being seen and
fished by friends because they want to know where the fish are, I might as well
be a guide for them because they use me each time out, so if you need a little
help, just email me a question and I will get the answer for you... I started fishing when I was about 5 years old, my parents said I loved to fish as a kid, and as far back as I can remember I loved to fish. Fishing the banks of White Rock was what I did the most, in the spring it was bass and crappie, summer catfish and bream, fall it was bass. I did learn a lot about fishing from my dad's friends, they had boats and they let me drive sometimes and I learned how to read a graph. Fishing was a lot of fun, and at the age of 11 my dad got our first boat and that helped me learn much more at a rapid pace. The first lake we focused on was Joe Pool, we searched and fished the whole lake, I wanted to fish for bass but my dad loves to catch what he likes to eat, and thats crappie. His boat, his rules, so crappie fishing was forced on me, but he did give ground every now and then and I used my skills to do what I did best, catch bass. I fished a few bass tournaments with a family friend, and even won one. Bass fishing ruled my life from 12-14 looking up to the Warren brothers and DFW local Jerry Dean, then going to semiars, held with B.A.S.S pros (I'm talking Ray Scott led B.A.S.S), and then I read a book that showed tactics from a man called Buck Perry, and I tried to learn as much as I could about his structure techniques. By the age of 14 I was running the boat and finding spots to fish for crappie, standing timber mostly, and then it hit me like a stone, can I use Buck Perry's techniques to catch crappie, the answer was yes and the whole week before, I laid out a plan with my map and Buck Perry books. When the weekend came I used my plan on Lake Ray Hubbard, we found a large school of crappie and was hooked. Over the years I came up with a sure fire around the year technique to catch crappie, and it works for me a lot of the time. Now years later I do web design and I'm saving up for another boat, but for now I hitch a ride and help friends to catch more crappie, just call me a poor man's guide service. I love Punk Rock, Indie Rock, some Metal and Old skool R&B, I love to play video games and watch movies. Having fun is what I like most, if your not having fun your not living.......
